Ever since we came out with our amazing lightweight fiberglass plates, people have been asking for .30 gage metal personalized license plates. For 25 years we've been the only source for TV, movie and auto buffs wanting that special license plate for their cars. And now, with a bit a patience, we can make a METAL custom personalized plate for YOU ... using our new patented process that creates a nearly perfect faux plate every time!
Our price is a low $49.95 for the two day process and all detail work involved. When we say that these plates are 110% beautiful, we mean exactly that. No person or company on the planet makes them except for us and we know you'd gladly pay much more for them. The sample plates shown below don't do them any justice, but they can show you a variety of styles. This is how you can make it happen:
You can have MULTIPLE lines of characters - plus you may also indicate a three letter abbreviation for month or state - or four number year - in either or both upper corners ... BUT these will go where the registration tags are generally located - so remember that if this is a street vehicle you may actually need to put reg tags there which could cover up the lettering in those corners! Also - if you want more than one line of text - or more than NINE characters per line - please keep in mind that the lettering MUST be smaller than standard size to fit them on these small plates! So if you want people to see the message on your plate at a great distance, you may want to limit your message to only nine characters in one line so the lettering will be the standard size. But the choice is yours! Keep in mind that we have great flexibility in creating your plate any way you need it since we don't need dies and the faux realist 3D effect shows brilliantly.
Upon receiving your order, we will create a .jpg mock up of our interpretation of your plate as you described it and e-mail it to you for approval. If it's right on the money, then you don't need to do another thing except try to keep from biting your nails or barking at the dog until your new metal plate arrives.
If the .jpg image does not look how you wanted it, then just reply to our e-mail and explain as clearly as possible what changes need to be made, and we will send back a new .jpg image with your requested corrections. We will repeat this process, if necessary, until we get it just exactly like you want it. Then we will create it and ship it off to you!
PLEASE NOTE: If you would like special background art for your plate - or wish to add your company logo, club insignia or other unique artwork, we may need to pass on a modest fee of $10.00 - $30.00 [depending on the extent of the time and work needed to recreate it for you]. If this is the case, please fill out our Special Artwork Request Form BEFORE you place your order. Once you have submitted your form, we will review your needs to determine if your special plate requires an additional artwork charge, and if so, the additional fee necessary to ensure that your .30 gage metal license plate will look exactly as you want it! We will also reply with a .jpg mock up of your plate to ensure it is perfect. Then, once we have agreed on the exact look of your plate and the additional fee needed, if any, you can come back here to the site to place your order. You will order the additional fees in the same way as you will your plate. Once you have added the plate to your cart, click the Get More PL8S Byway button to continue shopping, which will bring you back to this page. Then you will scroll down this page and select the option that matches with the dollar amount we have quoted you and proceed to check out as you normally would - simple as that!! And we will already have your artwork and/or complete description via the form you filled out, so we will be able to make your plate and have it shipped off to you much sooner!
All plates come with a FREE black plastic universal frame - OR you can pay $10 extra for a shiny chrome frame [$19.95 value!] If you want the chrome frame you must order it and pay for it at the time you place your license plate order.
We ask you to pay first because we know our plates are excellent products and we can't have our graphics people doing spec plates all day. We don't want to raise our pricing even though the value is so much more than we charge you. So with a little time, effort and instruction on your part we will create for you a legal .30 gage metal custom personalized plate for your classic car!
If you would like us to use the official plate style of the state for your plate click the YES radio button - then fill in the State of Plate, then leave the following fields blank except for Plate Lettering and Instructions.
If you do NOT want us to use the official style plate, please select NO - then enter the state, year if appropriate, what colors you want us to use for the plate and the lettering, indicate the plate lettering and provide us with complete instructions.
When you enter the characters you want to use as your message, carefully double check what you have entered to make sure it is spelled correctly and looks exactly as you would like it to - including spacing! Please also make sure to describe in as much detail as possible exactly how you want it to look, including any special instructions. Then click on the CLCK 2 BUY button to place your order.
